What Is TDAC?
TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is the digital version of Thailand’s immigration form, which replaced the paper TM6 form starting May 1, 2025. It must be completed online by anyone entering Thailand — whether by air, land, or sea.
When Should You Fill Out the TDAC?

You can fill out the TDAC no earlier than 3 days before your arrival. For example, if you’re arriving on June 29, you can submit the form anytime between June 26 and June 29. The system won’t allow submissions before that window.
How to Fill Out the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
Time needed: 5 minutes
You can complete the TDAC using your phone or laptop — it takes no more than 5 minutes.
- Go to the Official TDAC Website
Visit tdac.immigration.go.th and click the “Arrival Card” button.

- Enter Your Personal Information
Fill in your surname and given name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, gender, country of residence, phone number, occupation (e.g., Freelancer or Manager), visa number (if you’re entering on a visa), and the state or province where you live in your home country.

- Enter Your Arrival Information
Enter your arrival date in Thailand and the country of embarkation. If you’re flying from the U.S. with a layover in Japan and you don’t leave the transit area, list the U.S. as your country of embarkation. For the purpose of visit, select “Holiday.” Choose “AIR” as the mode of transport and “Commercial Flight” as the type of transport. Make sure to enter the flight number that actually arrives in Thailand, even if you had a layover.

- Enter Your Departure Information (Optional)
Here, you can indicate how you plan to leave Thailand — by plane, car, bus, or sea. This section is optional. For example, I didn’t fill it out when entering Thailand from Cambodia. But if you already have a return ticket, it doesn’t hurt to include the details.

- Enter Your Accommodation Details
In the “Type of Accomodation” field, select Hotel. Then choose the province — similar to a state or region in Thailand. For example, Phuket and Bangkok are both provinces, while Pattaya is in Chon Buri province. Next, copy your hotel’s address from Google Maps and paste it into the “Address” field. The other fields are optional (not marked with asterisks), but if the system later asks for more details, just copy the full address from Google Maps — it usually includes the district and province as well.

- Fill Out the Health Declaration
List all countries you visited in the 14 days before arriving in Thailand. If you had a layover but didn’t leave the airport’s transit zone, you don’t need to include that country. However, if you exited the airport and entered the city, you must add it to the list. At this step, you can also add other travelers to your TDAC if you’re traveling as a group.

- Review Your Information
Before submitting, double-check all the fields for accuracy. If you spot any mistakes, click the “Edit” button to make corrections. Once everything looks good, agree to the terms and enter your email address — your completed TDAC will be sent there.

- Download the TDAC to Your Phone
The card will be sent as a PDF file. You can download it immediately after submitting the form — a download window will appear. Alternatively, you can download it later from the email you receive. If you’re using Gmail, be sure to check your Spam folder in case the email ends up there.

When I did a border run from Bangkok to Cambodia and back, I filled out the TDAC as required. But in reality — no one even asked for it. It felt like the whole process was just a formality.
What Does the TDAC Look Like?
If you’re curious about what the final card looks like, you can check out my TDAC at this link. It’s simple: your personal details, an application number, and a QR code you can show at the border.
How to Edit Your TDAC

If your plans change, you can update your TDAC. Here’s how:
- Go to tdac.immigration.go.th.
- Click “Update Arrival Card.”
- Enter the details from your current TDAC.
- Make the necessary changes and save the updated card.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you do. However, you can add other family members to the same application after completing the Health Declaration step. To save time, click the “Same as previous traveler” button.
Yes, as long as it’s within 72 hours of your arrival in Thailand — that’s perfectly acceptable.
There are two possibilities: either no one will check, or you’ll be asked to complete it at the border.
Just list the first hotel — that’s enough.
You can make a temporary flight reservation. I use a service called Kupitrip — it costs $14, shows up in booking systems, and is valid for 7 days.
