Queen Sirikit Park is located next to Mo Chit Bus Terminal and Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal.
You can get here easily by car, motorbike, bus, or public transport (MRT/BTS).
By MRT or BTS
You can reach the park via either metro line:
- MRT (Blue Line) — Chatuchak Park Station
- BTS (Green Line) — Mo Chit Station
After exiting the station, you’ll walk through Chatuchak Park to reach Queen Sirikit Park. This means you can visit multiple parks in one trip
By Car or Motorbike
Queen Sirikit Park has two parking areas:
- One on the southern side
- One on the western side
In addition, street parking is allowed along Kamphaeng Phet 3 Road during the following hours:
- 09:00–16:00
- 20:00–06:00
By Bus
There are two bus stops near Queen Sirikit Park.
- Queen Sirikit Park: 1-36, 1-42, 1-56, 2-20, 2-52, 3-18, 3-19E, 3-24E, 3-47, 4-22E, 4-60, 4-70E, 5, A1
- Opposite Queen Sirikit Park (across the road, near the pedestrian overpass): 1-6, 1-36, 1-42, 1-56, 2-16, 2-20, 2-37, 2-48, 3-18, 3-19E, 3-24E, 3-47, 4-22, 4-29E, 4-49, 4-60, 4-70E, 5, S6, A1
🚌 Bus numbers with hyphens are part of Bangkok’s new route numbering system. For planning bus routes, the Viabus app is a convenient option.
Park Entrances
Access to the park is completely free.
Queen Sirikit Park has 9 entrances:
- 7 entrances from the road side
- 2 entrances from Rot Fai Park

Opening Hours
Queen Sirikit Park is open daily from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The park was officially opened in 1992 to celebrate the 60th birthday of Queen Sirikit.
Park Rules: What’s Not Allowed
To keep the park clean, calm, and enjoyable for everyone, the following activities are prohibited:
- Walking pets (except certified guide dogs)
- Smoking
- Drinking alcohol
- Gambling
- Riding bicycles, scooters, or skateboards
Facilities & Amenities
Queen Sirikit Park has plenty of places to relax — open lawns where you can sit on the grass, shaded benches, and quiet spots that work well for a casual picnic.
Drinks and snacks are available near the entrance from Rot Fai Park. On the southern side of the park, along the road, you’ll also find many small food stalls and vendors selling refreshments.
Public toilets in Queen Sirikit Park are paid — 5 baht per visit. Nearby, there are refrigerators where you can buy cold drinks.
Things to Do in the Park
Queen Sirikit Park is possibly the most beautiful park in Bangkok. There are activities here for visitors of all ages.
Take a Walk
The park is filled with flowers, trees, and scenic ponds, making it a pleasant place for a leisurely walk.
Have a Picnic
There are spacious areas with soft grass where you can have a picnic or play ball.
Feed the Squirrels
Several species of squirrels live in the park, varying in color and size. Feeding squirrels is allowed, and they like peanuts.
Feed the Fish
The park has an S-shaped pond with large carp and catfish. You can bring special fish food or bread and feed them.
Climb the Observation Deck
A birdwatching tower has been built in the park (location). It offers a beautiful view of the park.
Watch the Ducks
Near the observation tower, there is a pond with white ducks. They are not shy and often come out onto the shore.
Go for a Run
A wide running track runs around the entire perimeter of the park. Early in the morning and closer to sunset, many people come here to run.
🏃 One of the reasons I love Bangkok is the opportunity to run in beautiful parks. Queen Sirikit Park is perfect for that.
Playground
The park has a playground where kids can stay entertained. Nearby, there is a long slide that both children and adults can use.
Children’s Museum

Children’s Discovery Museum is a great place for children under 10 years old. The museum consists of three buildings with different themes and activities, so kids don’t get bored.
Inside, there are interactive exhibitions, 4D shows, educational zones, and various hands-on activities.
Outside, there are water play areas, fountains, and a site where children can search for dinosaur bones.
There is parking next to the building, but it’s better to arrive at opening time — later on, free spaces are almost always taken.
Visit Nearby Parks
Queen Sirikit Park is part of the largest park complex in Bangkok. Nearby are Chatuchak Park and Rot Fai Park. It’s easy to move between the parks, so you can visit all three in one day.
