Taking the train is the cheapest way to travel from Bangkok to Buri Ram.
- Departure station: Krung Thep Aphiwat Train Station
- Arrival station: Buri Ram Train Station
- Where to buy tickets: at the station or online at dticket.railway.co.th
⚠️ A word of caution: I don’t recommend paying by card on dticket. My payment went through, but no ticket was issued, and I had to wait 45 days for a refund. Instead, pay via Thai QR code through the True Money wallet. I explained how to set it up in this guide.
